Getting to know Workflow
Chain several models on one canvas, so what one step makes goes straight into the next.
Workflow is a canvas in the studio for chaining several models into one flow. For example: a product photo becomes a catalogue shot from an image model, then that catalogue shot becomes a clip from a video model. All of it runs with one button, with no downloading and uploading again in between.
The Workflow menu is in the Create group of the sidebar, right under Models.
How it works
Each box on the canvas is a node: a file, a piece of text, a model, or a final result. Nodes connect through ports, and one node's output flows into the next node's input. The full list is in Node types.
Lay out the flow. Add nodes from the canvas panel, then drag a line from an output port to an input port.
Fill the slots. A Media node can hold a file from the Library, or be left as a named empty slot, for example "Product photo", that is filled each time the workflow runs.
Press Run all. The dialog shows every node's price and the total before any credits are taken.
Watch the results flow. Each node lights up while it runs, and Scene nodes line up the final results in the Scene results strip.
Cost
The workflow itself is free. Only the nodes that run are charged, at the same model rates as the console, plus 0.2 credits for each System Prompt node.
- An estimate before it runs. The Run all dialog lists each node's price and the total. Credits are taken per node, as that node starts.
- Nothing reruns without a reason. A node whose result still fits is not run again, so it is not charged again. Editing one node and running again only charges that node and the ones downstream of it.
- The path not taken is free. A Condition node picks one path; the others do not run and are not charged.
- Balance runs out midway. The run is held, not failed. After topping up, it can carry on from that point.
- Failed nodes are refunded, the same as a normal generation.
Running part of it
Run this node runs a single node, together with the nodes that feed it, without running the whole workflow. Useful for testing one step before running everything.
Limits
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Nodes per workflow | 50 |
| Workflows per account | 100 |
| Runs at the same time per account | 3 |
Not yet possible
Workflow does not yet join several clips into one video: each scene is a separate result. Workflows cannot yet run over MCP, and a node cannot yet repeat for every item in a list.
